Job Title: Production Pharmacist

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full time

Position Overview

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Production Pharmacist to oversee and manage our pharmaceutical production processes.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, maintain product quality, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the production of pharmaceuticals, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and support to production staff on pharmaceutical processes and safety protocols.
  • Address any production-related issues promptly and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the production team to develop and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct quality checks and documentation to ensure product safety and efficacy.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in managing raw materials and finished goods.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy preferred.
  • PharmD would be an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of cGMP, FDA regulations, and quality control processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Active pharmacist license.
  • Progressive 5 years of experience as a production pharmacist.
