Job Summary

  • We are currently seeking an Assistant Sales Manager with a strong agro business background to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued growth and success.
  • As an Assistant Sales Manager in the agro business sector, you will play a crucial role in driving sales, building and maintaining customer relationships, and supporting the overall growth of our company.
  • You will work closely with the Sales Manager and the sales team to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential customers in the agro business sector.
  • Use market insights to identify potential opportunities and threats.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and updates for the Sales Manager and senior management.
  • Monitor sales metrics and provide insights into areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the training and development of the sales team, helping them enhance their agro business knowledge and sales skills.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve sales goals.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales forecasts and budgets.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure smooth and efficient sales operations.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our agro products and services.
  • Be a subject matter expert to provide guidance and information to customers and the sales team.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors in the agro business sector.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Agribusiness, Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 - 5 years relevant work experience.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • A self-motivated and results-driven mindset.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proven experience in the agro business sector, preferably in a sales or customer-facing role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
