Vraiment Nigeria Limited is an indigenous Agricultural Company that operates an integrated farming system involving crop and animal production, value addition, and other aspects of the agricultural value chain.

Job Title: Assistant Farm Manager (Crop Production)

Location: Alabata, Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Details
The job description of the successful candidate among other things include:

• Work with the Farm Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of the farm.
• Preparation of work plan and crop calendar for planting, field management, and harvesting of tomatoes, cucumber, and soybeans.
• Technical backstopping, capacity development, and training of daily-rated staff attached to the farm.
• Preparation of timesheet for casual/daily rated staff.
• Motorcycle maintenance, irrigation management, and fertigation.
• Planting, application of manure, staking, trellising, weed management, harvesting, and post-harvest handling of tomatoes, cucumber, and soybeans.
• Any other responsibility assigned to him by the Farm Manager or the Management staff.

Qualifications

• OND or HND in Plant Science or related discipline with 1 to 2 years relevant experience in a similar role.

The ideal candidate must:

• Have the fear of God and integrity.
• Have a good command of English both in speaking and writing.
• Honest, diligent, dedicated, and unassuming
• Have previous farming experience.
• Have the ability to work with little or no supervision.
• Be critical thinking and have the ability to take initiative as occasion demands.
