It is a major manufacturer and distributor company in the FMCG Distribution Sector for premium brands in the Health and Personal Care categories like Lebrace Diaper and Besense Sanitary Pads meeting household needs in a vastly diversified demography.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:



Job Title: Area Sales Manager
Locations: Enugu, Anambra and Ebonyi
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Ensures sales reps and supervisors have daily, weekly and monthly volume objectives and KPIs (key performance indicators), and ensure that performance is tracked and reviewed daily.
  • Takes an active interest in the top wholesalers within the jurisdiction, ensures that these wholesalers have open communication lines to the ASM and makes regular calls to them to visit their warehouses and understand their market and trade opportunities.
  • When necessary, maybe required to directly manage wholesalers
  • Implements a standardized Market Intelligence Report which will capture information through salesmen and supervisors and give feedback on this information concerning competition activities at retail & wholesale, pricing initiatives, unauthorized products and other product opportunities to the Head Office.
  • Implements a daily and weekly planning and performance review schedules to monitor territory performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Takes initiative to develop sales team and provide leadership.

Required Skills / Abilities

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Must reside Onitsha or Enugu
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools
  • Must possess good decision making skills
  • Must be able to speak Igbo language fluently
  • 3-4 years of experience in sales and marketing covering Anambra, Enugu and Ebonyi States
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead a team to meet quotas
