We are recruiting to fill the positions below:
Job Title: Crane Electrician
Ref.: AT-142662
Location: Lagos
Key Responsibilities
- To carry out all maintenance repairs and modifications on Crane
Supervisor and/or Crane Foreman and other plant and equipment (when
required) in accordance with the requirements of the Code of Practice
and the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Ensuring high standards are
maintained.
- To evaluate and analyse the nature, cause and perform the
repairs of breakdowns. Determining the optimal way of dealing with the
problem, to achieve a quality and cost effective solution, as well as
minimal downtime and maximum Operational availability of Container
handling equipment.
- Use sound knowledge of rigging procedures to recover equipment
from yard due to accidents as efficiently as possible, ensuring minimal
delays to operations.
- Have sufficient knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety
Act. Enforce safe working procedures, for the purpose of safety of
employees and people around you.
- To carry out repairs to defects as per Examiners defect list. To
ensure safe working and minimize breakdowns to machinery and equipment.
- Fill out Confirmation Slips to ensure proper records are kept for future reference.
- To execute all repairs timorously and effectively ensuring
equipment failure is minimized and availability of equipment is
optimised in the most cost effective manner.
- Working from Monday’s to Friday’s from 7H00am to 19H00pm but not
limited to shifts, overtime and standby to ensure 24-hour availability
of Container handling equipment.
Who we are looking for
- B.Eng/HND in Electrical Engineering
- City and Guilds Certification
- 3-5 years experience as Electrician in any ports, mines, steel and manufacturing plants plus shift working experience
- Requires the ability to be responsive to emergency repairs with quality workmanship and service.
- Mobile Harbour Cranes, Rubber Gantry Cranes,
- Spreaders and anther equipment
- Basic Mechanical and hydraulic Maintenance Skills.
- Possesses a valid driver’s license.

Job Title: Crane Mechanic

- To evaluate and analyse the nature, cause and perform the
repairs of breakdowns. Determining the optimal way of dealing with the
problem, to achieve a quality and cost effective solution, as well as
minimal downtime and maximum Operational availability of Container
handling equipment.
- Use sound knowledge of rigging procedures to recover equipment
from yard due to accidents as efficiently as possible, ensuring minimal
delays to operations.
Who We Are Looking For
- B.Eng/HND in Engineering
- 3-5 years experience as Mechanical in any ports, mines, steel and manufacturing plants plus shift working experience
- Possess valid driver’s license.
- Analytical and systematic
- Requires the ability to follow instructions & plan the work day.
- Required to keep work area organized, neat and efficiently planned (5S).
- Requires the ability to be responsive to emergency repairs with quality workmanship and service.
- Requires the ability to learn fast.
- Basic Electrical Knowledge

Job Title: Reach Stacker Operator
Ref: AT-14269
Location: Lagos
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the Reach stacker / Empty Handler for receiving /
loading / Shifting in the stack / housekeeping activity for containers
to and from the yard for vessels operations or serving the land side
customers for deliveries etc as per work order queues in a safe manner.
- Inspects equipment at beginning of shift to ensure that all of the parts are operating properly.
- Identifies and reports any safety problems, malfunctions, or
damage to yard handling equipment, before, during or after the shift.
- Follows safe operating procedures and instructions, preventing
any injury to persons, or damage to containers and other equipment and
property.
- Carries out duties and tasks in an efficient, productive manner.
Who We Are Looking For
- One to two years of heavy vehicle driving or similar work experience
- Must have understanding of operating heavy vehicles
- Understands and observes safety requirements for driving heavy vehicles within a disciplined environment
- Requires Basic English language skills
- Good eyesight and hand eye coordination
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
