We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Anaesthetic Technician II
Location: Abuja
Job Description
- Their primary responsibilities will be in setting-up and preparing equipment and medications per the direction of the Anesthesiologist.
- The Anaesthetic Technician II will also be responsible for assisting in special procedures and provide support for complex surgical cases.
- The Anaesthetic Technician II is responsible for preparing, calibrating, and cleaning anaesthesia equipment.
- The technician will perform aseptic techniques according to established standards of care and infection control.
- They are in charge of making sure all equipment is safe to use on patients and free of any unhealthy bacteria.
- The Anesthetic Technician supports other members of the anesthesia care team. They may be called upon to transport a patient to the operating room.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain patient monitoring devices and anaesthesia delivery systems pre, intra and post anaesthesia and with consideration and knowledge of age-specific issues related to meeting the needs of the various patient groups.
- Perform basic trouble shooting for monitors and equipment and reports defective equipment and equipment malfunctions appropriately/immediately.
- Maintain established departmental policies, procedures, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
- Documents and maintains preventative maintenance and quality records.
- Assists with transport of patients and laboratory specimens as necessary.
- Provides anaesthesia technician services to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed anaesthesia care provider designated by the client facility, in accordance with state regulations.
- Cleans, sterilizes, disinfects, orders/stocks and maintains routine anaesthesia equipment and supplies.
- Maintain anaesthesia medications, supplies and equipment according to needs and schedules.
- Cleans, organizes and maintains anaesthesia workroom, supplies and equipment.
- Performs all job duties of an Anaesthesia Technician I.
Qualifications
- Proficient with Healthcare Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Highly motivated team player willing to go the extra mile.
- Anaesthetic Technician Diploma
- Certification – Anaesthetic Technician Certificate
- NYSC Certificate or Exemption Letter

Job Title: Billing Manager
Location: Abuja
The Role
- The incumbent will also ensure that the billing officers prepare invoices and update patient and client billing records.
- This role will be responsible for maintaining billing records, inputting billing data in the hospitals software system, allocating and filing receipts, balancing billing records on a daily and monthly basis, and book keeping.
- Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Billing Manager will be responsible for supervising tracking money owed to us by patients and clients of the hospital.
Responsibilities
- Attending organized unit meetings
- Preparation and timely submissions of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly yearly report as may be requested by the Head of unit or Manager
- Clearing patients for admission and discharge.
- Ensure all bills are prepared based on agreed tariffs with the various companies and HMOs.
- Ensure corporate/insurance are submitted bills before official deadline
- Answer questions and handle complaints from customers regarding bills
- Such other functions as may assigned by the Manager
- Ensure requisite approvals for processing of corporate / insurances invoices/claims are obtained.
- Ensure medical reports / encounter form are written / completed for organizations are require them for processing of bills/payment.
- Monthly preparation and submission of corporate/insurance bills before official deadline
- Report errors on tariffs (uploaded or hard copy) to appropriate officer in charge
- Preparation of monthly bills dispatch report
- Supervising billing officers and ensuring they are up to date with their assigned functions
Qualifications
- Adheres to laws and confidentiality guidelines
- Proficient in MS Office especially Excel; working knowledge on ODOO or MediPlus
- Excellent Math Skills
- 2-5 years of experience as Billing Manager in a hospital or related field
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounts
- ICAN will be an added advantage
