We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accounts Payable Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Review invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment
• Perform invoice and general-ledger data entry
• Track monthly and budgeted expenses
• Respond to payment enquiries from vendors
• Identify process improvements and new approaches to processes
• Maintain vendor files and records
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions
• Processs receipts and comissions on payments made
• Management of Account payables and generating a weekly payable report
• Obtain proper information/ data regarding invoice payments.

Requirements

• HND or B.Sc in Accounting
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and partner information
• Certified practicing Accounting Certification will also be an added advantage
• Proper use of Excel and MS word and Accounting Applications.
• Minimum of 5 years experience working as an Accountant or an Accounts Payable Officer
• Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
• Effectivetime management skills
