AACE Food Processing & Distribution Limited (AACE Foods) is an indigenous Nigerian company which was established in November 2009. We process, package and distribute nutritious and tasty food made from the best of West Africa’s fruits, herbs, vegetables and cereals. Our product line consists of spices, spreads, sauces and complementary food that excite and satisfy institutional, commercial and retail customers.


AACE Foods sources its produce from farmers in rural communities across the West and Central African region. Through its innovative product line, creative packaging, competitive pricing, and distribution strategy, AACE is gradually displacing imports and attracting new customers every day!

We are recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Account Assistant

Job Description

  • Prepare and enter appropriate and comprehensive journal entries into accounting Peach tree software tools
  • Track supplier payments and fulfilment of supplier obligations on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Support raw material purchases, as required
  • Monitor the in and out flow of office supplies, equipment and raw materials
  • Support the delivery of customer orders and the purchase of raw materials
  • Monitor, track and ensure compliance of all contracts and projects
  • Assist Management in other areas related to ensuring the success of AACE Foods
  • Prepare product cost accounting, product price development, and inventory management and control
  • Maintain and account for petty-cash, including handling, reconciliation and reporting
  • Manage the smooth functioning of the office support systems including negotiations with suppliers, vendors and other service providers in the most cost effective manner and instituting contracts for all transactions
  • Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with financial, human resources and administrative policies and procedures
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports for the directors
  • Engage in the annual audit process
  • Work with the management team to develop and improve forecasting, budgeting and planning and financial analyses processes
  • Track customer sales, payments and outstandings on a weekly and monthly basis
