Functions of Civil Society

Selfishness is being concerned excessively or exclusively, for oneself or one's own advantage, pleasure, or welfare, regardless of others. 

Political participation refers to a wide range of activities, designed to influence government. Political participation can take many forms. The most common today are lobbying, public relations, litigation, protest, and, most important, voting.

The concept of rule of law is limited in the area of application because of the following: state of emergency, hebeas corpus, Diplomatic immunity. International law, foreign diplomat are not tried under the laws of their host countries. Illiteracy is not a limitation.

Preventive measure of HIV/AIDS

1. Practice Safe Sex. 

2. Don’t Share Needles.

3. Take Preventive Medication. 

4. Avoid Risky Behaviors.

HIV and AIDS can be prevented by safe-sex practices, meaning consistent use of condoms, testing pregnant mothers for the virus and treating appropriately to prevent infant infection, and not using "dirty needles" for IV drug use. Additionally, blood banks now carefully screen all donor blood for the virus.
