Role Summary
- The Technical Early Career Graduate Internship Program is a 12 - 18 months development program with focus on Subsea Controls.
Essential Responsibilities
At the end of the program, the Intern should be knowledgeable to:
- Install, commission, maintain, repair, fault find company supplied production controls system in line with company procedure and O&M’s
- Demonstrate the ability to problem solve and fault finding on systems that are currently installed
- Maintain, produce procedure, report and provide technical support
- Provide operational services and engineering support for the controls systems for deep water operations
- Develop extensive knowledge of subsea controls equipment and systems, proven track record in ability to interface with other functional teams and ensure delivery of a reliable subsea controls system
- Delivery of subsea control and distribution systems within BHGE subsea projects, including safety, schedule and quality from definition through to operation
- Ensure all activity is carried out in line with company quality, HSE systems including Toolbox talks, risk assessment, Stop work system, incident reporting and risk control plan
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 2nd Class Upper or Upper Credit
- Must be able to work independently and within a team environment
- Should be self-starter and able to take initiative as required
- Demonstrate the ability to problem solve and fault finding on systems
- B.Sc degree or HND in Controls or Electrical & Electronic or Computer Engineering or equivalent knowledge or experience
- Completed NYSC in less than 2 years
- Good interpersonal skills
- Must exhibit effective written and oral communication skills

Role Summary
- BHGE has an opportunity for a Petroleum Engineer to join its Geoscience team in Lagos Nigeria
Essential Responsibilities
- Provides Petroleum Engineering input to multi-disciplinary projects focused on production enhancement
- Integrates data and performs interpretation and analysis using appropriate state-of-the-art techniques to provide best in class solutions for the client
- Interacts with the client and builds/delivers technical solutions to client challenges
- Expected to plan and manage workload in order to meet given targets
- Handles special projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering
- 5-10 years’ Petroleum Engineering experience in the Oil & Gas Industry
- Excellent Problem solving skills with a drive for results
- Must be action oriented, ethical in value and have a strong client focus
- Must be able to work both independently and as part of multi-disciplined teams working with an extensive client base
- Demonstrates competency in all aspects of Petroleum Engineering
- Must have awareness of Wireline/LWD technologies and measurements
- Experienced in planning and evaluation of production enhancement activities
- Knowledgeable about production technology and production optimisation
Desired Characteristics:
- Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering will be beneficial
- Experience from an Oil Producing company will be beneficial.
