  • The Technical Early Career Graduate Internship Program is a 12 - 18 months development program with focus on Subsea Controls.
Essential Responsibilities At the end of the program, the Intern should be knowledgeable to:
  • Install, commission, maintain, repair, fault find company supplied production controls system in line with company procedure and O&M’s
  • Demonstrate the ability to problem solve and fault finding on systems that are currently installed
  • Maintain, produce procedure, report and provide technical support
  • Provide operational services and engineering support for the controls systems for deep water operations
  • Develop extensive knowledge of subsea controls equipment and systems, proven track record in ability to interface with other functional teams and ensure delivery of a reliable subsea controls system
  • Delivery of subsea control and distribution systems within BHGE subsea projects, including safety, schedule and quality from definition through to operation
  • Ensure all activity is carried out in line with company quality, HSE systems including Toolbox talks, risk assessment, Stop work system, incident reporting and risk control plan
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Minimum of 2nd Class Upper or Upper Credit
  • Must be able to work independently and within a team environment
  • Should be self-starter and able to take initiative as required
  • Demonstrate the ability to problem solve and fault finding on systems
  • B.Sc degree or HND in Controls or Electrical & Electronic or Computer Engineering or equivalent knowledge or experience
  • Completed NYSC in less than 2 years
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Must exhibit effective written and oral communication skills

  • BHGE has an opportunity for a Petroleum Engineer to join its Geoscience team in Lagos Nigeria
Essential Responsibilities
  • Provides Petroleum Engineering input to multi-disciplinary projects focused on production enhancement
  • Integrates data and performs interpretation and analysis using appropriate state-of-the-art techniques to provide best in class solutions for the client
  • Interacts with the client and builds/delivers technical solutions to client challenges
  • Expected to plan and manage workload in order to meet given targets
  • Handles special projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering
  • 5-10 years’ Petroleum Engineering experience in the Oil & Gas Industry
  • Excellent Problem solving skills with a drive for results
  • Must be action oriented, ethical in value and have a strong client focus
  • Must be able to work both independently and as part of multi-disciplined teams working with an extensive client base
  • Demonstrates competency in all aspects of Petroleum Engineering
  • Must have awareness of Wireline/LWD technologies and measurements
  • Experienced in planning and evaluation of production enhancement activities
  • Knowledgeable about production technology and production optimisation
Desired Characteristics:
  • Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering will be beneficial
  • Experience from an Oil Producing company will be beneficial.
