  • Responsible for developing marketing strategies in line with corporate goals and objectives that will lead to sales and revenue generation.
  • Manages the operations team to ensure quality standards are met and delivery to customers are met at all times. Reviews existing operations in line with corporate goals to ensure process optimization.
Essential Job Functions
  • Works with the sales and marketing team to ensure that the marketing plan is implemented and translates to sales for the company;
  • Develops and tracks the marketing budget for the company;
  • Reviews current machines and operations – which includes distribution and delivery, to ensure process optimization;
  • Identifies skills gaps with marketing and operations team to ensure necessary learning and development initiatives are identified and implemented;
  • Identifies new business opportunities for the company and responsible for converting these to sales;
  • Manages and maintains good relationship with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals;
  • Oversees the design of the marketing tools and makes presentations to potential clients on products;
  • Promotes the brand of the company by attending networking sessions, conferences and seminars.
  • Develops marketing plan for the company in line with the company’s goals and communicates plan to the sales and marketing team. Identifies the right media to use in advertising products;
  • Conducts market research in order to come up with implementable marketing strategy;
  • Utilizes data in making informed decisions and projections;
  • Responsible for designing and planning marketing campaigns;
  • Responsible for coming up with marketing initiatives that will lead to sales while utilizing relevant sales media;
  • Ensures that the sales and marketing team are clear on the direction of the company and monitors performance monthly;
Education
  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
  • Master's degree in Business Management or Marketing is added advantage.
Work Experience:
  • 5-10 years post NYSC work experience with a minimum of 3 years in similar industry and in leadership role would be an added advantage
Knowledge Area:
  • Audience development and subscription strategies;
  • Strategy formulation and implementation;
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office tools and relevant software;
