We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title:  Warehouse Officer Location: Ibadan, Oyo Employment Type: Permanent Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities.
  • Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
  • Oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities.
  • Organize and maintain inventory and storage area.
  • Receive and record new stock as they come in, and move stock onto trucks or store shelves as needed.
  • Ensure supplied or stored materials are properly handled from reception to dispatch stage.
  • Create schedules, monitor stock levels at the warehouse and know when to replenish stock.
  • Ensure every item of stock gets to its destination on time, and that there are no shortages on shelves.
  • Collate and analyse and update inventory reports as may be required.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Employers will want candidates to have at least a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related fields.
  • Between 2 to 5 years of experience in the logistics, warehouse or inventory field.
  • Knowledge of warehouse software packages (MS Navision) and MS Office proficiency.
  • Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data.
  • Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Communication Skills: Warehouse Officer will need to speak with coworkers.
  • Critical-Thinking Skills: Warehouse Officer will need to devise plans of action and asses those plans regularly.
  • Organizational Skills: Multiple orders, people and many moving pieces will keep warehouse Officer on their toes.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Warehouse Officer will need to be ready when problems arise, or be ready to anticipate problems before they happen.
