We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: Student Acquisition Marketing Specialist Location: Lagos, Nigeria Full-time, Open-ended Contract Start date: April, 2019 Job Purpose

  • As a student acquisition marketing specialist, your main objective will be to define, execute, analyze and optimize our local and regional student acquisition strategy in key West African markets through the use of social channels, search, organic, display, affiliate and emerging channels.
  • You will be responsible for defining the acquisition growth strategy for existing programs and implementing the acquisition plan for new programs and markets.
  • You will be responsible for managing the entire funnel and leading a high-performance student acquisition to support all our programs.

  • You have a thorough knowledge of the main acquisition channels and the marketing technology stack to achieve effective results with them, experience working in multicultural and distributed teams and the innate ability to identify growth opportunities and communicate them to key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Plan and execute local/region-specific marketing activity in line with corporate objectives:
  • Ensure that the targets set in strategies, plans and campaigns are met in terms of leads, applications, firm acceptances and enrolments.
  • Manage the company’s international marketing budget on an on-going basis ensuring
  • compliance with financial and procurement regulations and maximising return on investment and value for money.
  • Drive Organic growth by meeting traffic targets and overseeing the implementation of smart SEO practices, content creation, and link building.
  • Build and be the key owner of a robust acquisition models and new model build outs.
  • Develop evidenced-based marketing strategies, plans and related campaigns, aligning with the objectives and priorities of the company.
  • Proactively monitor effectiveness of marketing activity, taking corrective action to meet/exceed the companies enrolment objectives.
Produce marketing materials and maintain marketing information:
  • Project manage the development of the prospectus and other marketing collateral.
  • Project manage the development of the web pages, ensuring that content is up- to-date and accurate with the relevant key messages.
  • Lead on international search engine optimisation including keyword research and testing, copy testing, landing pages and URLs.
  • Seek opportunities to build external links to maximise SEO and maintain external listings on third partywebsites.
Develop and implement marketing communications:
  • Develop and implement robust integrated advertising plans supporting lead generation in key regions.
  • Create and implement online enquirer, applicant and offer holder nurture and conversion plans with the aim of increasing applications, conversion rates and enrolments.
  • Gather and verify information to produce accurate, compelling and persuasive copy for a range of print and digital platforms to ensure an appropriate and optimum online presence for the company.
  • Work with the Student Success Coordinators to develop activity to optimise the benefits of the company’s international alumni in terms of lifetime customer value, brand and reputation development, and international marketing and recruitment reach.

  • B.Sc or M.Sc in Marketing, Communication or related fields of study
  • 2-4 years experience in user (student) acquisition marketing
  • Perfect command of English and French would be appreciated
  • A true passion for education combined with a strong business sense
  • Time management and priority setting skills
  • Strong interest in digital technologies
