Perfection Motors a subsidiary of the Lee Group of companies was established in partnership with FAW China. Perfection Motor’s was given the sole rights to, assemble and market FAW heavy duty Trucks in Nigeria. Since our inception in 2013 we have made great strides in insuring that we will be ready to service our market by establishing our head office alongside a fully equipped workshop, Parts Department and not to mention an SKD assembly plant in Ikeja.

We are recruiting to fill the positions below:

 

 


Job Title: Auto Electrician

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Performing electronic diagnostics on cars and other vehicles to identify faults
  • Repairing electrical and electronic faults in cars and motor vehicles, replacing damaged/faulty parts where necessary
  • Performing checks and tests to verify the success of repair work
  • Assembling and installing electrical and electronic systems in motor vehicles
  • Preparing time and cost estimates for customers
  • Performing routine revision and maintenance on motor vehicles
  • Regular industry research to stay current with vehicle manufacturers updates and new repair tools / products and techniques for current and future problem-solving and decision making.
  • Quality control analysis; conducting tests and inspection of products, services / processes to evaluate quality and performance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications / Experience

  • Minimum of College / Secondary School certificate with additional training as an electrical apprentice or vocational training as an Automobile electrician.
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience as an auto electrician in the automobile industry.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Skills/ Competencies:

  • Knowledge of English language (written and oral)
  • Auto electrical and mechanical knowledge
  • Experience repairing automobile air conditioning
  • Knowledge of diagnostics tools for vehicle electrical and electronics
  • Ability to read electrical and electronic schematics and circuit diagrams
  • Ability to carry out / repair electrical wiring in a range of vehicles
  • Strong manual skills and precision when carrying out repair and testing
  • Organizational skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Problem-solving skills

Salary
N70,000 / month.

 

 

 

Job Title: Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Inspect hydraulic, engine and transmission system of all Heavy Plant Machineries
  • Reading of hydraulic and transmission system flow diagrams and trouble shooting
  • Overhaul Engine transmission, gear boxes, hydraulics, cylinders and other major repairs
  • Generate maintenance and service reports
  • Inspecting and Diagnosing faults in trucks, cranes, bulldozers, and other heavy equipment for proper performance.
  • Adjusting equipment and replacing faulty parts.
  • Repairing damaged equipment parts.
  • Cleaning, lubricating, and conducting routine services on heavy-duty vehicles.
  • Cleaning and servicing of machine attachments like winches, blades, and side booms.
  • Performing major repair work when necessary.
  • Consulting with other mechanics on smaller jobs.
  • Reporting damaged or faulty equipment to management.
  • Ensure all scheduled and corrective maintenance are carried out as at when due
  • Comply with safety, health, and environment and quality procedures
  • Report and relate activities to the Supervisor/Maintenance Engineer
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisor/Maintenance Engineer

Minimum Qualifications / Experience

  • Candidates must have minimum of 3 years’ experience of repairing and maintaining heavy duty vehicles and equipment.
  • SSCE and Technical Certificate (Trade Test 1/Craftsman) or equivalent Mechanical Engineering and other related field of study.
  • A professionally recognized qualification in Heavy vehicle / Plant Maintenance and repair
  • Candidates must hold a valid licence.

  • Strong manual skills and precision when carrying out repair and testing
  • Organizational skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Problem-solving skills

Salary
