Job Title: Trade Marketing Manager
Location: Lagos

Job Objectives
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our products to and provide support for retailers, wholesalers, and distributors.
- This includes creating trade marketing plans, conducting market research, analyzing sales data, and collaborating with the sales team to optimize brand performance and grow market share.
- Understand consumer behavior and market trends to effectively target and engage with trade customers, maximize product/brand visibility and availability in retail outlets and distribution channels.
Job Functions
- Developing and implementing trade marketing strategies to drive sales
- Executing effective trade promotional campaigns and reporting periodically on results and insights
- Coordinating on-boarding and retention efforts (training, support, and incentives) for trade customers; wholesalers, retailers and distributors
- Coaching and supporting the sales teams to execute trade initiatives
- Expanding sales opportunities across general and modern trade channels
- Managing the trade marketing budget and allocating the Advertising & Promotion (A&P) budget across relevant channels and tactics
- Increasing ROI, market share and profitability for all products
- Maintaining solid business relationship with key accounts
- Analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify trade opportunities.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and external partners
- Monitoring and evaluating the success of trade marketing initiatives
- Coordinating visual merchandising for POS and retail outlets
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Management, Economics, Marketing or related field
- 3 - 5 Years proven experience in trade marketing or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing software.
- Strong project management skills
- Certifications in Marketing, Sales, Trade Promotion Management and Retail Category Management.
- Strong knowledge of retail industry in Nigeria
- Experience in collating and analyzing large amounts of data
