Job Title: Terminal Operations Manager

Location: Apapa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Major Responsibilities

  • Drive and secure new business deals.
  • Oversee assets operational capability and maintain product quality at the required levels to achieve operations plan targets.
  • Ensure the effective maintenance of equipment through effective planning, scheduling and execution including preventative maintenance programs.
  • Ensure improved reliability of equipment through asset and integrity reliability programs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the Terminal and Trading Business Plan.
  • Develop and direct plans and activities at Terminal operations (Oil Movement and Port) to optimizing day to day tank logistics and crude and product preparation, storage and product offtake through road tank wagon, multi-product pipeline and vessels.
  • Implement and manage quality management systems for continued improvement of Terminal Operations.
  • Execute cargo preparation, crude and product receipts and offtake programs and hydrocarbon fiscalisation.
  • Direct the planning, organization, monitoring and control of all Bunker Barge and Pipeline delivery operations.
  • Develop strategic goals, objectives and key performance indicators for section and utilize Performance Management System to measure, manage, and motivate performance.
  • Develop departmental budgets and control utilization.
  • Manage loss control (product quality, demurrage and giveaway).
  • Develop Marine Emergency Response strategy and respond as necessary.
  • To oversee operating and supply contracts with external service providers to ensure business needs are met and adherence to standards, regulations and operating practices.
  • Ensure a reliable supply of utilities (water, steam, air) and quality on demand by the facilities.
  • Prioritize and address cost challenges including operating and maintenance expenses
  • Ensure compliance with Asset Management Systems and Procedures.
  • Implement HSEQ standards and ensures adherence to same.
  • Communicate information effectively upwards and downwards.
  • Undertake any other assignments required from time to time, to fulfill the job purpose.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with 3 - 6 years relevant work experience in Terminal Operations.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective organizational and multitasking skills.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 Monthly.
