Job Title: Telemarketer

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Overview

  • As a Telemarketer, you will be primarily tasked with the responsibility to talk to potential customers on the phone or any digital medium to sell products, track customer contact lists, explain the benefits of our products, and take payment information.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver scripted talks that describe the company’s products or services, a political talking point or appeal to persuade potential customers or donors
  • Explain products and product prices
  • Answer customer information about our products
  • Obtain customer information such as name and address for shipping products or delivering services
  • Keep track of customers that have been contacted and those who do not want to be contacted in the future
  • Follow up on previous customers for potential sales
  • Maintain records of customer contacts
  • Work closely with the marketing and creative design team to gather all assets required to implement digital advertising e-mail campaigns
  • Develop, manage and maintain a creative calendar, including topics, deliverable dates and approvals
  • Effectively communicate with account management team members and external partners regarding the status of all components involved in digital campaigns
  • Point-person for all client-related Account and Compliance items; approve, research and troubleshoot, as needed
  • Complete customer surveys to obtain information about potential customers
  • Manage and schedule client campaigns through our sales performance tool and monitor performance daily to ensure they are accurate and running as contracted
  • Act as the operational lead on all IT related projects associated with the client and department strategies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or related discipline
  • Must be resident in Lagos, Abuja or PortHarcourt
  • Technically savvy and able to adjust to new applications quickly
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation and phone communication skills, with the ability to adapt conversations for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to communicate ideas effectively and lead cross-functional team discussions
  • Exhibit creativity, flexibility, adaptability and the drive to achieve results
  • Ability to conceptualize goals and objectives for clients and the company
  • Organizational agility with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to work effectively across the company
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Ability to work in-house 3 times a week
  • 2 years of Digital marketing experience is a must.
  • Keen understanding of CRM and database management tools is a must
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and develop relevant and realistic plans, programs and recommendations
  • Aptitude to think strategically, create plans and in a client-centric environment
  • Capacity to multi-task and prioritize based on impact
  • Analytical and metric focused with attention to detail
  • Disciplined, an organized, and thorough individual who is a self-starter

Salary
N60,000 - N80,000 Monthly.
