We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Telecoms Engineer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

• Preparation of Telecommunication Engineering deliverables including Design Basis, Specifications for various Telecommunication Systems, System Block Diagrams, Datasheets,
• Perform Fiber Optic Link Budget Calculations, Data and Telephony Traffic Analysis, Capacity / Bandwidth Calculations, Public Address Sound Pressure Level Calculations.
• Provide engineering input to engineering drawings including Device Location Plans, Cable Routing Layouts, Instrument/Device Installation Details, Interconnection Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams, Circuit & Connection Diagrams, Cable Block Diagrams and MDF / IDF Schematics, FO Allocation Diagrams, Device and Equipment Schedules etc.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in and understanding ANSI/TIA/EIA, 568-A, 569-A, 570-A, and 606 standards.
• Knowledge of the ATEX, engineering practice standards.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in the field of metering systems.
• Conversant with Shell DEP, TotalEnergies GS
• Proficient in the codes and standards within the oil and gas industry, i.e., API, BS, ISO, ASME, ANSI, IEC, ISA, IEEE, etc.

Software:

• AutoCAD 2D & 3D
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Navisworks.

 Salary
N500,000 - N800,000 Monthly.
