Achieving Health Nigeria Initiative (AHNi) is a non-profit organization that promotes socioeconomic development by supporting global health and economic initiatives in Nigeria. AHNi currently has its headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria. The Global Fund is a 21st-century partnership organization designed to accelerate the end of AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria as epidemics. Founded in 2002, the Global Fund is a partnership between governments, civil society, the private sector and people affected by the diseases. The Global Fund raises and invests nearly US$4 billion a year to support programs run by local experts in countries and communities most in need. Since 2003, the Global Fund has invested more than 1.4 billion dollars in the fight against AIDS, TB and Malaria in Nigeria.
To strengthen our operations and interventions in the country, we are seeking qualified candidates for the positions below:   Job Title: Technical Officer - Monitoring & Evaluation Location: Abuja Contract Type: Fixed Term Project: Global Fund
Details
  • S/he will work with others in the States under it to ensure that monitoring and evaluation activities are effectively implemented and meet the donor and project’s needs
  • Technical Officer - Monitoring & Evaluation under the supervision of the Senior Technical Officer, Monitoring & Evaluation, with technical and managerial oversight from Senior Technical Advisor, Monitoring & Evaluation, HQ Office, is responsible for the implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities for the zone and support its design at that level.
Minimum Recruitment Standards
  • Or MPH/MSc/MBA/MA/MB.BS/MD in relevant degree with 1 to 5 years relevant experience in project-level or state/national-level monitoring and evaluation system implementation for Global Health Initiatives
  • Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health systems and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable.
  • BSc / BA in Statistics, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Monitoring and Evaluation or in relevant degree with 5 to 7 years relevant experience in project-level or state/national-level monitoring and evaluation system implementation for Global Health Initiatives
       
Job Title: Finance Assistant Location: Lagos Contract Type: Fixed Term Project: SHARP
Details
  • Finance Assistant Under the direction of the Finance & Grants Officer, the Finance Assistant will be responsible for the provision of accounting, administrative, and logistical support services to the SHARP Project.
Minimum Recruitment Standards
  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • Experience with administrative and secretarial skills
  • Sound accounting skills
  • Experience with large complex organization is required, familiarity with international NGOs preferred.
Job Title: Clinical Psychologist Location: Anambra Contract Type: Fixed Term Project: Global Fund
Details
  • Clinical Psychologist Under general supervision, provides psychological assessment, diagnosis and individual, group, and family therapy, case management services, referral, and follow-up to acute, chronic, or moderately disturbed mentally ill clients and/or patients, and consultation with outside facilities and/or agencies.
Minimum Requirements Standards
  • 3 - 4 years’ experience, Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer literacy
  • A trained Psychologist with a degree in Psychology,
  • Basic Knowledge of HIV program
       
Job Title: Administrative Assistant Location: Abuja Contract Type: Fixed Term Project: Global Fund
Details
  • Administrative Assistant will support the Admin Manager and departmental staff in the provision of administrative and logistical services toAHNi staff.
Minimum Recruitment Standards
  • Familiarity with administrative and secretarial skills is an advantage
  • Familiarity with international NGOs is an advantage
  • Experience with large complex organization preferred
  • University degree, recognized equivalent or HND
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
