Multipro Consumer Products Limited is the largest company in Nigeria dealing in Sales, Haulage and Logistics. MCPL was founded in 1996 as a fully owned company of the Tolaram Group. The first product sold by MCPL in 1996 was Indomie and since then it has played a seminal role in making Indomie a household brand in Nigeria. MCPL over the years has grown adding 13 brands in various categories comprising of Noodle, Snacks, Milk, Cereal, Oil, Homecare and Personal Hygiene.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:



Job Title: Sustainability Associate
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and analyze the company’s policies and processes to identify areas and processes to which improvements can be made in accordance with the organization's commitment to sustainability.
  • Brainstorms and identifies creative ways in which the company can balance business obligations with the goal of respecting, supporting, and improving the business approach to driving sustainability.
  • Understanding, keeping up to date, and compliant with the evolving regulatory environment in relation to ESG and sustainability matters.
  • Carrying out materiality assessments in terms of the full value chain to identify, measure and manage the most important factor as may be required.
  • Understanding sustainability maturity by carrying out peer reviews and benchmarks.
  • Provide ESG expertise to deliver ESG due diligence and value-creation projects.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of ESG developments in the FMCG industry.
  • Developing materials and delivering training from C-suite to staff members.
  • Gauging current ESG situation, including but not limited to carbon emission footprint.
  • Building relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines to provide seamlessly integrated services.
  • Carrying out risk assessments in relation to sustainability matters.
  • Drafts and prepares reports, presentations, and proposals; presents proposals and recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Develops and maintains appropriate documentation and records including budgets and other financial.
  • Prepares documentation required for project funding for various sustainability initiatives.
  • Maintains current working knowledge of, and ensures compliance with, all applicable stakeholders on sustainability issues.
  • Identifies and facilitates training as may be required.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
