Job Description
- We are currently looking for Supplier and Trade Quality Manager.
- The ideal person will be responsible for leading and managing suppliers of raw and pack materials to meet desired QFS aligned specifications and standards, also manage customer complaints related to product.
Responsibilities
- Identify, adapt or develop up-to-date documentation, guidance and trainings to Upstream (suppliers, Supply Chain material warehousing and transferring streams, third party manufacturers) and Downstream (Distribution centers, finished good transferring streams, key distributors, agents, vendors, shops) partners on Danone and other applicable regulatory and food safety requirements
- Collaborate with Cycles & Procurement and Research & Innovation teams to ensure compliance of suppliers and 3PMs to Danone requirements prior to approval and organizational integration
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Sales teams to ensure compliance of third party transporters, key distributors and agents to Danone requirements prior to approval and organizational integration
- Co-define with key stakeholders (QFS Manager, Brand Managers, Sales Managers, Crisis Manager) complaints management and redressal process
- Serve as QFS SPOC on innovation, renovation and productivity project teams and CBU SPOC for Supplier Quality, 3PM, Quality in Market and Consumer Voice, networks and gives QFS input into specification development
- Develop and deploy monthly Quality Contact and One Point Lessons in line with local context and prioities as well as highlights from Quality Incidence Observations
- Define and develop monitoring and validation protocols to assess adherence to quality, safety, health, housekeeping, GMP and environmental standards, policies and procedures by Upstream and Downstream partners
- Design and execute audits of Upstream and Downstream partners at pre-agreed frequencies based on risk to ensure performance versus and/or compliance with organizational requirements or action plans
- Develop presentation, training, communication and exhibition material on key topics and principles adapted to varied internal and external audiences
Requirements
- HND/BSc in Food science or any other related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in FMCG
- Promoting strong team spirit, leading with people to achieve set goals
- Good laboratory practices and management knowledge
- Good communications skills
- Experience with Food Safety, HACCP and quality regulations and programmes
- Great leadership skills
- Knowledge of six sigma and process capability improvement tools
