Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Schedule: Full Time

Job Description

  • Do you have a keen eye for detail? If so, we are looking for someone who can inspect deliveries and evaluate the quality and quantity of products as well as control stock levels within our hotel. Integrity is essential.
  • An understanding of stock control in a hotel environment, together with health & safety knowledge will make you stand out!

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures delivered products are checked against purchase specifications
  • Judges the quality, quantity, and sanitary conditions of products
  • Raises purchase orders, updates cost reports and maintains cellar ledger
  • Ensures sufficient stocks are held in hotel stores and orders are placed to maintain stock levels
  • Assists stock takes and liaises with external stock takers
  • Sources products and services at the best price for the hotel as required.
  • Inspects and verifies the supplier’s invoice for accuracy in quality descriptions, quantities, and prices
  • Monitors the moving of products to storage and issues stock to departments
  • Maintains professional working relationships with suppliers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Excellent organizational skills and Time management skills
  • Physical Stamina and ability to lift and move items.
  • Familiarity with Inventory Management Software and Systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping
