Job Description
Below is the job description for the position of a Store keeper:

  • Monitor and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring physical stock is in line with the inventory management system and ensure all stock movements are recorded to ensure accuracy
  • Records the inventory of all storeroom items.
  • Maintains database, updating records to record supplies and materials received and dispensed.
  • Conducts physical inventories on a routine schedule.
  • Verifies inventory records and corrects discrepancies.
  • Ensuring that all warehouse operations run smoothly by communicating with other staff members
  • Organizing and maintaining warehouse inventory records such as item location, quantity, condition, price, etc.
  • Ensure confirmation and sign document of goods received and send to stock card.
  • Inform branch manager and billing operator about items reaching warning level.
  • Ensuring healthy stacking of goods inside the vehicle and snap the goods inside the vehicle.
  • Manage arranging, counting, labeling, checking material quality and weight before delivery for all listed product in the job order.
  • Send order to production, if necessary and provide estimate time needed for delivery or transfer.
  • Confirming and signing documents of goods received and sent to billing operator.
  • Stock taking report indicating variances and their resolution.
  • Arrange offloading, scaling, counting, labelling and healthy stock of goods
  • Proper verification of content and weight of stock once transfer from one warehouse to the other or if returned and when receiving the stocks from other warehouse
  • Ensuring safety of staff.
  • Monitoring and supervising the production.
  • Monitoring the arrangement, counting, labeling, checking material quality and weight of products before delivery.
  • Informing the warehouse supervisor in case of damage or expired goods.
  • Monitor and supervise colour accuracy.

Skills, Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of OND in any Social Science course
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience as a storekeeper/inventory officer.
  • Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
  • Time management skills and the ability to delegate.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 monthly.
