Job Summary
- EFAB Properties Limited, a prominent real estate and property construction company, is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Storekeeper with strong IT skills to join our team.
- The successful candidate will oversee and manage the company's inventory, ensure efficient stock control and management, conduct audits of materials usage by site engineers on the construction site, and report daily stock positions to the appropriate authority.
- This role requires a minimum of 3years of practical experience in a similar position, along with relevant educational qualifications and proficiency in Excel office tools.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels, receipts, and issuances.
- Conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies.
- Receive and inspect incoming materials, verifying quantity and quality against purchase orders.
- Audit materials usage by site engineers on the construction site to ensure proper allocation and minimize wastage.
- Collaborate with site engineers and project managers to forecast material requirements and ensure timely delivery.
- Report daily stock positions for accurate financial record-keeping.
- Leverage IT systems to prepare and analyze inventory reports, highlighting trends and recommending improvements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the storage and handling of materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse or storage area.
- Organize and arrange stock systematically, ensuring efficient utilization of storage space.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase orders to replenish inventory as needed.
- Implement and maintain proper stock control systems, including FIFO (First In, First Out) and stock rotation.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a BA/B.Sc. Degrees
- Minimum of 3-5 years of practical experience as a Store Keeper or in a similar inventory management role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with suppliers, site engineers, and project managers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of construction materials and industry practices is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Strong IT skills
- Proficiency in using Excel office tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Knowledge of inventory management software is an advantage.
