Job Title: Stock Controller (Imports)

Job Summary

  • The stock controller will be tasked with ensuring seamless importation and distribution of company products.
  • He/She must have in-depth experience of the ports and distribution across the country, and must also possess FMCG experience, amongst other supply chain and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
  • Central warehouse operations including pick & pack of consultant orders and inventory control
  • Distribution planning and market replenishment order
  • Sanitary registration and importation process
  • National distribution, distribution strategy and annual negotiations
  • Secure a cost and capital efficient operation

Desired Skills, Experiences and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years previous experience in Logistics/Supply Chain.
  • University Degree.
  • English spoken, written and read.
  • Documented fast moving consumer goods experience.
  • Organized, structured, analytical and process oriented.
  • Very good interpersonal, motivational and management skills.
  • Knowledge of dealing with NAFDAC.
  • Must be conversant with customs, clearing, normal import documents (form m, soncap etc.)
  • Must be well experienced in the use of Microsoft excel.
  • Inbound logistics in general.
  • Outbound logistics in Nigeria (basic distribution).
  • Highly dedicated in achieving results.
  • A proactive approach to improving business.
  • Very good analytical skills.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Good report writing skills.
  • Good knowledge of Excel in particular and other systems in general.
  • Able to cope well with stress.
