Job Description

• 3Line is looking for a dynamic, experienced java developer to join the internal systems team to develop and maintain corporate solutions.
• Application areas include financial solutions, content management systems and customer value added solutions with predictive maintenance systems.

• Participating in the design and code reviews;
• Developing and unit testing software;
• Software maintenance;
• Code, compile and implement program after testing. Conduct change and problem controls. Support dev, pre-prod and live environments. Responsible for coding standards.
• Comply, understand and implement all steps within IT development and meet governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements during programming execution.
• Train system users during the initial deployment systems.
• Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SME’s, project managers and senior staff members by providing input to business requirements and being able to present and sell concepts to clients

• Experience developing Spring MVC web solutions using Java Servlets, web services in Java using JAX-WS with
• WSDL/SOAP and JAX-RS.
• Have good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• The role includes production support and maintenance.
• Good understanding of XML including XML Schema, XML Namespaces, WSDL 1.1/2.0.
• Experience with RIA technologies: Javascript, Ajax (JQuery/Dojo), HTML/CSS, HTML5.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Level 2 Security Clearance.
• Knowledge of Java, JBoss, Hibernate, Spring and EJB3.

• Degree, or Certification in computer science or any related field that will complement a programmers job
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities;
• Self-motivated and executes independently;
• Eagerness to learn new skills and share them with others.
• Familiar with one or more programming languages as appropriate for the specific requirements of the department related to the field.
• Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, highly logical, technically proficient.
• Minimum four (1 or 2) years of experience in programming and system design.
• Good problem solving and analytical skills;
• Strong team player who enjoys working with system users;
