Job Description

  • We seek a motivated and teachable Social Media Strategist to join our team in a contract, remote-based position.
  • The ideal candidate will strongly desire to learn and grow, possess excellent character and values, and demonstrate a passion for social media marketing.
  • This role will involve developing and implementing effective social media strategies to enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive growth.
  • There is a strong possibility for extension based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and execute comprehensive social media strategies that align with business goals and brand identity.
  • Generate engaging, high-quality content tailored for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Keep updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve our social media presence.
  • Work closely with marketing, design, and content teams to ensure brand consistency and achieve marketing objectives.
  • Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers, ensuring a positive and interactive community environment.
  • Track and analyze social media metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or HND
  • A portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns or content.
  • Teachable and Eager to Grow: Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in the fast-paced social media landscape.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
  • Creativity: A creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas to engage and grow our audience.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with social media platforms, scheduling tools, and basic graphic design skills.
  • Character and Values: Demonstrates integrity, responsibility, and a strong work ethic.
  • Experience: Previous experience in social media management or a related field is a plus, but not mandatory. A strong portfolio of past social media work can be considered in place of experience.
