We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Site Supervisor

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
Manage on-site construction workers and subcontractors, allocating tasks and responsibilities.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, prepare progress reports, and address construction issues promptly.
Monitor project expenses, stay within budget constraints, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Foster regular communication with stakeholders, addressing concerns from project managers, clients, and contractors.
Ensure regulatory compliance with building codes, regulations, and permits.
Implement and monitor environmental management practices.
Enforce quality control measures and conduct regular inspections to maintain compliance with standards.
Implement and enforce safety protocols, conduct safety briefings, and ensure a secure working environment.
Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment, optimizing resource usage.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture / Engineering or equivalent experience.
Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the construction industry.
Strong understanding of construction processes, project management, and local building codes.
Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
Organizational skills for efficient project coordination and documentation.
Knowledge of project budgeting, cost control, and the ability to identify cost-saving measures.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance and the ability to obtain necessary permits.
Environmental awareness with a focus on implementing and monitoring environmental management practices.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and allocate tasks.
Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution.
