The Seven-Up bottling company Plc is one of the largest independent manufacturer and distributor of the well-known and widely consumed brands of soft drinks in Nigeria. Our brands are Pepsi, 7UP, Mirinda, Teem and Mountain Dew, which we produce and market in all our present 9 manufacturing plants.
We also market our products through our over 200 distribution centres that we also call depots spread over the nooks and crane of Nigeria. Our workforce is currently in the neighbourhood of 3500 employees.

Job Title: Brand Manager
Job Description
The job holder will have full responsibility for developing best in-class and cost effective marketing strategy, and execute the same through the available resources, within the specified budgets and timelines, with a view to attain the volume, market share and brand KPI objectives.

Requirements

  • This is a management position and the successful applicant will be expected to have the following minimum qualifications:
  • A tertiary degree preferably Masters.
  • Strong management and team building skills, with successful experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, including fluent English in written and spoken.
  • Must be highly computer literate.
  • 5 years experience in Marketing as a Manager in another FMCG Company (Preferably Multinational).
  • “Hands on” person, business driven, excellent marketing skills, and proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing plans for a new and existing products.
Specific duties and responsibilities shall include the following:
  • Help shape the 3 year business plan, for the brand with emphasis on an 18-month horizon.
  • Responsible for Sponsorship execution in ATL domain in conjunction with Sponsorship Manager.
  • Responsible for Region-specific campaigns including radio, outdoor and print specific initiatives.
  • Co-create, Brief and manage ATL components of TTL campaigns Manages ATL budget (media, production, fees).
  • Understand and leverage consumer passion points & develop briefing strategy and guidelines for Brand Communications programs aligned with the activation platform.
  • Interface with agencies, manage agency performance contracts and stewards relationship.
  • Manage and evaluate third party suppliers to ensure excellence is delivered across the marketing mix.
  • Execute PR/digital management/new media approaches using input from media team and brand strategy and plan.
