Job Title: Senior Technical Recruiter

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Our client is looking to engage a Senior Technical Recruiter to join their people operations team and help grow their Tech team.
  • The Senior Technical Recruiter will identify, recruit, screen, and present good candidates for all tech positions, collaborating with hiring managers to set realistic technical requirements.
  • Preferred candidate will also network online and offline with potential candidates to promote the company’s employer brand, reduce time-to-hire and ensure the company attract the best professionals.

Job Description
Talent Acquisition:

  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates for technical positions.
  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment processes, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews and managing offer negotiations.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline through proactive networking, attending industry events and leveraging online platforms.

Relationship Management:

  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers and department leaders to understand talent needs, develop job descriptions, and align recruitment strategies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing guidance on candidate assessment, market insights, and best practices in talent acquisition.
  • Foster positive relationships with external recruitment agencies, universities, and industry professionals to enhance candidate sourcing efforts.

HR Business Partnering:

  • Provide strategic HR support to the Tech and Product Departments, including learning development, performance management, employee relations, and talent development initiatives.
  • Advise and coach product and engineering managers on HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional HR teams to drive initiatives related to talent acquisition, employee engagement, and retention.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of talent acquisition, team performance, strategies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports on recruitment activities, including candidate pipelines, time-to-fill, and diversity metrics.
  • Utilize HR systems and tools to ensure accurate and up-to-date candidate and employee data

The Person

  • 7+ years’ experience working in related role with a minimum of 3 years management experience/performance
  • Project management experience is required for this role
  • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for all tech
  • Experience using Confluence, Google Docs, LinkedIn and Jira
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g., social media recruiting and Boolean search)
