International Energy Services Limited (IESL), established in 1990, is a specialist, multidisciplinary, energy services company that provides integrated, client-focused and cost-effective services in the oil and gas industry.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Senior Manager, Human Resources

Location: Lagos

Job Objectives

  • Maintains and enhances the organization's human resources by planning, implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs and practices.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the managers with general HR processes including recruitment and induction of personnel and employee relations matters, engaging with external HR experts.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives to align with the overall business strategy.
  • Ensure all staff and management abide by the corporate agreed Staff Handbook and any other HR policies and procedures.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
  • Develop and monitor overall human resources strategies, systems, policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Assists Heads of Departments in defining departmental goals and key performance indicators (KPI), track and monitor KPIs and deploy appropriate interventions.
  • Ensure and support the implementation of the Performance Management and Development
  • System across the company and support a coordinated training plan with line managers.
  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys, scheduling and conducting job evaluations.
  • Possess industry network to gather and aggregate proper data for bench marking.
  • Put in place and oversee a Time and Attendance system for the company.
  • Coordinate all HR activities including Talent Acquisition, Career Management, Learning and
  • Development, Performance Management, Policy Implementation and Staff Welfare.
  • In conjunction with HSE and corporate services management, oversee Health and Safety compliance and policy implementation.
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resources federal and state requirements.
  • Prepare Annual HR Plan and salaries budget as part of Annual Budget and Work planning in conjunction with the Management Team.
  • Prepare HR financial plan and budget, ensure the management of cost and resources.
  • Provide employee-oriented framework and high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, productivity, quality and standard as well as goal attainment.
  • To be responsible for development of processes and metrics that support the achievement of the organization business goals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from a reputable university.
  • Master's degree will be a plus.
  • Professional HR Certificate with a specialization in HR or people management.

Skills / Competencies Requirements:

  • Strong capabilities in HR strategy formulation, talent sourcing, talent engagement and retention.
  • Must have strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Highly proficient in problem solving and analytical thinking.
  • Proficiency in Human Resource Information Software (HRIS).
