Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer

Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Inspection of all formwork and Reinforcement steelwork as per standard.
  • Conducting material inspections for all Construction items delivered at the site.
  • Ensure that all inspection reports are accurate and that all attached documents are Upto-date.
  • Preparing daily, Weekly & and monthly progress reports for the work done in the quality control section.
  • Providing training and guidance to project team members on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to promote a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Communicating with all stakeholders regarding quality-related matters, addressing concerns, providing updates, and ensuring alignment with management’s expectations.
  • Daily field inspection of construction operations to ensure compliance with approved Project Design, Drawings, specifications, and approved Project Quality Plans
  • Conduct training programs at the site for the development and improvement of workmanship thereby achieving better productivity.
  • Preparing and reviewing work method statements, inspection test plans and checklists as per specifications, international standards and code of practice.
  • Conducting regular inspections and tests on materials, workmanship, and construction processes to identify defects, deviations from specifications, and areas for improvement.
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance records, to track project progress and compliance.
  • Identifying non-conformities and implementing corrective actions to address quality issues promptly, collaborating with project managers, engineers, and contractors toresolve issues effectively.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an HND / B.Eng Degree with 8- 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • The candidate should reside in Warrior and must be willing to relocate to Warri(Accommodation available).
