Honda Manufacturing Nigeria Limited ("HMN"), founded in 1979, is a leading participant in Nigeria's power products sector and a division of Honda Motor Co., Japan. HMN manufactures and distributes a wide range of motorbikes, portable generators, water pumps, and general-purpose engines from its cutting-edge production facility at KM 6 on the Ota-Idiroko Road in Ota, Ogun State.

Job Title: Sales Supervisor (Power Product Sales)

Location: Kano

Job Description

  • As a Sales Supervisor in the Power Products Division, you will be responsible for conducting sales operations to satisfy business targets and KPIs.

Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Act as the principal point of contact for the various Power Product sales and Agricultural. Equipments offers, providing operational support to the various customers.
  • Collaborating with service managers to ensure all parts are available for repair jobs.
  • Provide support and expand service activities.
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.
  • Seek new clients and establish relationships with new channel partners.
  • Travel/visit potential clients within Nigeria.
  • Provide Power Product knowledge, servicing information, and advice to dealers .
  • Collect quality-related information at shops; Provide dealers with repair information.
  • Possess knowledge of Power Product, Agricultural tools, Motorcycles and Generators.
  • Responsible for assisting mechanics and customers with purchasing needs for parts and supplies.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Line Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or any other related study.
  • Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Completion of NYSC – Discharge or Exemption Certificate required.
  • Willingness to travel to any part of Nigeria.
  • 1-3 years of proven experience in sales coordination preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in using ERP management systems. Experience with SAGE preferable.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and regulations.
