Responsibilities
Your role and responsibilities:

  • In this role, you will be responsible to support ABB Nigeria Motion business front end sales team.
  • The work model for this role (onsite) This role is contributing to Motion Business Area based in Lagos Nigeria.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Independently preparing offers for products and service sales for drives and motors.
  • Preparation of offers for complete motion portfolio with support of factory / Hub.
  • Ensuring complete value chain from sales order booking to receipt of customer payment is happening for Motion orders, on time and as per costing.
  • Coordinating with customer about order acknowledgement, delivery, forwarder arrangements etc. ensuring on time delivery.
  • Ensuring payment collection is happening on time.
  • Issuing Purchase orders, and placing the orders on factory via Email, BOL, Cscot and POL.
  • Completing correspondence with factory for orders including checking of packing list, delivery details etc.
  • Arranging dispatch of the shipping documents on time to customers.
  • Placing warranty orders as per the details given by service team in SAP & in BOL and follow up with factory till dispatch and returning the faulty material back to factory
  • Customer invoicing
  • High availability and responsiveness beyond working hours to support critical customer re-quests.
  • Coordinating with service team ensuing ontime sheet entry and revenues
  • Coordinating with service partners for training, price list, offers and orders.
  • Participating in conferences, workshops, launch and learn sessions and conduct training sessions for customers and key stakeholders
  • Visiting site when required by management team

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with technical background
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Good team player
  • Knowledge of SAP & Microsoft powerpoint
  • Comprehensive technical understanding of Low Voltage Motors and drives
  • Understanding of commercial terms and conditions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
