We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Rig Supervisor

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate bid days and resource requirements to accomplish expected tasks on time and budget
• Thorough knowledge of Lifting/Rigging standards, tools, tackles, and equipment as per OSHA requirements
• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in all rigging and lifting activities, to ensure compliance with safety procedures and method statements
• Develop and submit complete lift plans/method statements for all Heavy lifts prior to attempting it with basic calculations like CG, Moments, Loads, Safe angles
• Prepare Risk Assessment for rigging operation
• Coordinates with all effects departments and HSE Dept
• Carryout periodic Inspection of equipment and all rigging hardware such as wire rope, web sling, spreader bar, shackles, chain block, body harness
• Supervise the crane boom, and accessories, maintaining the log for each crane, ensuring the erection of barriers and safety sign boards in respect to lifting areas
• Ability to optimize resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) to ensure efficient and timely completion of the job
• Ensures that work crews are properly supplied with tools, equipment, and materials

Qualifications

• University Degree in Engineering
• 15 years and above in the relevant field
• Round 1&2 Shell certificates or their equivalent
• Proficiency in computer usage.
• Must have a valid International Well Control Forum (IWCF) certificate
• Valid BOSIET/HUET certificate
• Valid Offshore medical certificate confirming fitness to work offshore.
• Must be able to present a competence profile showing relevant experience in deepwater offshore rig

Remuneration
N450,000 - N600,000 Monthly.
