Relationship Officer / Manager at Keystone Bank


Keystone Bank is a full service commercial bank currently owned by Sigma Golf River Bank Consortium after being acquired from the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) in 2017. It was granted banking license on August 5, 2011, by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). The Bank has met and exceeded all capital adequacy requirements of the CBN and assumed the deposit liabilities, certain other liabilities and assets of former Bank PHB Plc, following the revocation of the erstwhile bank's operating License by the CBN.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Relationship Officer / Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Description

  • The ideal candidate must be able to build and cultivate relationships with potential and existing customers and translate those relationships into profitable business for the Bank.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the formulation and implementation of strategies necessary to acquire and sustain accounts in the retail and commercial sectors of the market
  • Identify customer needs/buyer values and proactively seek to provide products/ services to meet the identified needs
  • Regularly contact customers via telephone calls and physical marketing visits to obtain feedback on service quality and customer satisfaction levels
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints and issues
  • Prepare periodic activity and performance reports
  • Participate in team meetings
  • Review applications for credit facility (in line with the Bank’s policy) and make appropriate recommendations/decisions
  • Analyze and screen applications for credit based on the Bank’s credit risk procedures
  • Initiate and carry out recovery action on non-performing credit facilities on assigned accounts
  • Act on behalf of and perform other tasks as assigned by the Business Team Lead

Qualifications / Skills / Competences

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-6 years of sales and client relationship experience
  • Creative and Innovative
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge of credit management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and clients
  • Ability to take initiative and demonstrate persistence
