We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: Regional Operations Manager - West Location: Nigeria Reports to: Chief Operations Officer Summary/Objective

  • To supervise the operational activities of the assigned branches in order to achieve efficient, productive and profitable portfolio in support of the Accion Mfb business strategy.
Responsibilities The responsibilities of this role include:
  • Train and supervise the branch operations staff so that they follow the internal processes and procedures in order that the bank has an efficient and effective workforce.
  • Develop training manuals to train staff under his/her supervision on prevalent audit matters/issues to curtail recurrence.
  • Review operational risk of the bank so as to comply with internal and external regulations
  • Co-ordinates and manages the activities of the head office/regional office operations operation staff.
  • Supervise other regional staff assigned.
  • Participate in branch expansion, brand management and business development activities in the region.
  • Carry out any other ad hoc jobs assigned from time to time..
  • Develops, implements and updates policies, procedures, standards & processes for the unit.
  • Ensures adherence to defined operations policies within the Bank.
  • Coordinate with the IT department to ensure continuous availability and effectiveness of business applications and technology infrastructure required for the Bank’s operations to run smoothly.
  • Provides effective and efficient report of the operations activities, portfolio status at the branches to management for analysis and decision making.
  • Ensure that the branch maintain up to date accurate records and generates necessary report on time.
  • Support the handling of customers’ complaints according to the different levels of authorization.
  • Review audit reports of all assigned branches and ensure rate of error are minimal while all audit issues are promptly resolved.
Qualification and Experience
  • A minimum of HND or BSc in Business, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, and/or related fields with numerate coursework.
  • Minimum of 7 years cognate experience.
  • Good time management and planning skills.
