Job Purpose
- The Project Manager must have an understanding of Project Management methodologies, contribute to successful project delivery by driving continuous improvement, coordinating projects, tracking status, budget and ensuring resources availability.
- He must ensure that appropriate standard project practices and procedures are followed and documentations, sign offs are managed and updated regularly.
- Ensure owners of operational actions complete them and provide regular updates to project stakeholders and team members.
- Involved in planning the strategy roadmap with Head of Unit to complete and actualization of deliverables.
- Control, update, and report financials for projects and other related costs for IT Department
Key Responsibilities
Managing Project Governance Responsibilities (In-country & Center):
- Compliance level to project governance
- Manage vendor relationships (Third Parties) to meet SLAs
- Compliance to IT Project Governance, Process and Function
- Feedback from In-country and Center to include IT Steering Committee
Managing Time, Resources and Project Budgets:
- No of Projects delivered on time, scope, within budget
- Number of projects/WR delivered successfully without complaints
- Project stakeholders satisfaction levels
- Manage project documentation and ensuring objectives set out are achieved preventing scope creep
- Work at all levels of the project from business analysis through project management as needed to govern the project execution successfully.
Management of Project Governance Shared Folder:
- Zero Audit exceptions
- Internal customer satisfaction level with IT support
- Compliance to IT Project Governance, Process and Function
Monitoring and Communication of Project Status and Delivery:
- Project stakeholders satisfaction levels
- Other KPIs identified by Head of Project Management Office
- Internal customer satisfaction level with IT support
- Number of projects/WR delivered successfully without complaints
Ensure Srict Compliance to IT ‘s Standard Operating Processes:
- Zero Audit exceptions
- Compliance to IT Project Governance, Process and Function
- Ensures compliance to all standards and controls defined by Group IT
- Responsible to Group for compliance to Process and Standards
- Any other duties as may be assigned by Department Head & Team Leader

Preferred Qualification and Experience
Qualification:
- First Degree in IT and Computer Sciences - Minimum of first degree or its equivalent in numerate or semi-numerate disciplines such as engineering, computer sciences, statistics, mathematics.
- Masters Degree - Preferably certified in Prince 2, PMI, PMBOK or other project management qualifications
Experience:

- Organization Change Management - Defining and managing the process of deploying and integrating IT capabilities into the business in a way that is sensitive to, and fully compatible with, business operations.
- IT Business Analysis - Knowledge and ability to analyse business requirements to be met by IT solutions.
- Configuration Management - Refers to the knowledge and experience with regard to the systematic management of information relating to the documentation, software, hardware and firmware assets of an organization.
