    Job Title: Material Control Regional Assistant Location: Lagos Job Summary
  • The Material Control Regional Assistant monitors material control and planning, inventory control, and maintains proper documentation for the various regional warehouse operations in Nigeria, Niger, Togo and Benin Republic.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize and supervise the inventory process and operations of the West African region's warehouses in Nigeria/Niger/Togo/Benin Republic. Calculate the material request for Togo and Benin Republic and follow up the incoming materials from China
  • Manage inbound shipment receipt, inventory control and warehousing
  • Track intra-company shipments from source point to receipt point, to ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain queries and reports, to support inventory control analysis and reporting for all four countries, regarding status of shipments into the region, as needed. Ensure inventory levels at all regional warehouses are sufficient
  • Develops, implements and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
  • Must have 6 years of experience in device warehouse management. Must have proven professional experience in material control, supply chain planning, inventory management and/or warehouse operations
Requirements:
  • Male candidates preferred
  • Understanding of forecasting, budgeting, material control and cost control procedures. Must have excellent and proven abilities in Microsoft Office, especially, Excel and PowerPoint. Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written). Must possess excellent record-keeping skills.
  • High sense of urgency with exceptional management, decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to speak French is a plus.

  • Participate in short- and long-term planning activities; in both online and offline channels to increase user activity and participation.
  • Combine with hot issues & social trends, export creative and effective promotion proposal, gain user growth opportunities for the product with minimum cost.
  • Organize regular user surveys and analyze user demands and convert research findings into actionable results.
  • Synthesizes findings to inform a better understanding of users, give insight into business value, and opportunities.
  • Utilize hot issues & social media trends; export creative and effective promotional proposals, and gain user growth opportunities for the product, with minimum cost.
  • Maintain User relationship, collecting user’s feedback, responding to queries, and give advice for product optimization.
  • Conducts user research using methods thereby classifying users according to peculiarities and making and implementing well-tailored strategies for different user groups and enliven the atmosphere within community.
  • Researches and develops user scenarios to be used during the design and development processes and makes enhancement recommendations as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelors’ degree.
  • Have at least 2 years of proven experience in Content Operations and User Experience, related roles.
Required Attributes and Competences:
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong Data analysis ability is a preferred.
  • Familiarity with promotional methods and related resources is preferred.
  • Active on social media platforms.
  • Good organizational and analytical skills.
  • Previous event planning experience, especially in a professional capacity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Online community management experience
  • Background in customer service or partner management
  • Awareness of local current events/trends is desired.
