Job Title: Sales Officer - Shop Floor (Supermarket)

Location: Arepo, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Duties / Responsibilities

  • Greet customers as they enter the shop and help them find the product they need
  • Assist customers by providing product recommendations
  • Answering questions on products
  • Expanding sales revenue by cross-marketing other products
  • Serving customers and processing sales transactions
  • Restock shelves·
  • Resolve customer complaints·
  • Ensure that the sales floor is clean and well-maintained.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Applicants should have at least a diploma certificate and a credit in English and maths.
  • Previous Customer Service experience preferred
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English Language)
  • Good teamwork.
  • Flexibility to do different tasks.
  • Ability to be friendly and polite even when tired, or under pressure
  • Ability to follow procedures correctly, such as using a till (Epos system)
  • Confidence in giving advice and information
  • Having enough stamina to keep going even when difficult
  • Applicants should live around Arepo and its environs

Job Title: Procurement Officer (Supermarket)

Location: Arepo, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1 - 3 years experience.
  • Must be able to evaluate suppliers and buy items.
  • Must be able to analyze and compare financial reports and pricing proposals from several trusted suppliers before negotiating terms.
  • Must be able to handle all customer and supplier inquiries regarding orders, status, changes, and invoice payment.
  • Create purchase orders and send them to chosen vendors.
  • Ensuring that the product inventory is always in compliance with company policy.
  • Following up with suppliers for confirmation of order and ensure deliveries are prompt.
  • Assist in researching new vendors and comparing competitive suppliers.
  • Must be able to treat requisitions from the shelf attendants.
  • Must be able to drive very well and must have a driving license.
  • Prior Supermarket procurement experience will be an added advantage.
