We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: Rig Supervisor II Location: Nigeria Category: Others Job Type: Contracts Job Nature: 4wk on / 4wk off - 28 days on / 28 days off - 28 days on / 28 days off Main Functions

  • Represents the company on a rig site to support the safe and efficient execution of well plans. Is the primary contact for rig and third party personnel to ensure logistics for personnel, equipment and services are appropriately organized and managed.
Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for communicating expectations regarding safety, security, health, and environment; provides guidance and supports managing Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) events
  • Responsible for communicating Operations Integrity Management Systems (Operations Integrity Management System (OIMS) ) expectations on the rig site
  • Monitors rig operations to provide feedback and input to the rig contractor to ensure well control procedures are properly followed and emergency situations are appropriately managed
  • Responsible for ensuring that safety, operational, environmental, security and other drills are conducted on site at specified frequencies
  • Responsible for ensuring drilling and completion procedures are followed as approved and utilizes management of change processes if changes are required
  • Orders and organizes logistics for services and equipment necessary to conduct drilling and completion operations efficiently
  • Supports onsite surveillance requirements for the operation in areas such as kick detection, abnormal pressure detection, torque & drag, mud properties, and solids control efficiency
  • Responsible for generation of accurate and adequate operations reports
  • Interfaces with engineering and geology to ensure understanding of well objectives and procedural requirements
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years' industry experience in rig supervisory or rig leadership roles for drilling and completion operations
  • Minimum 10 years' experience working for a major Operator or Drilling Contractor
  • Hold current certification for Well Control
  • This is a job level 2 position: 10 to 20 years of related experience is required
  • Prior experience working for a major Operator or Drilling Contractor
  • Hold current certification for Well Control.

    Job Title: Fluids Advisor II Location: Nigeria Job Type: Contracts Job Nature: 4wk on / 4wk off - 28 days on / 28 days off - 28 days on / 28 days off Main Functions
  • Provide technical and operations support for drilling and completion fluids selection, design, and management for drilling and completion operations.
  • Provide technical and operations support for solids control and waste management for drilling and completions operations.
  • Serves as a technical resource to perform audits of vendor processes and facilities.
Tasks and Responsibilities In addition to Level 1 tasks and responsibilities, Level 2:
  • Work with Drilling Engineers in planning for future drill wells (writing fluids programs) and performing surveillance on active operations
  • Steward overall performance of the drilling fluids vendor
  • Ensure fluid sampling techniques are representative of the fluid in use
  • Ensure lab equipment is in good working condition, properly calibrated and certified where needed; Ensure daily that all fluids system-associated equipment at site is operating when needed, is in good working condition, is properly calibrated and certified where needed
  • Ensure fluid properties are correctly analyzed and that recommended chemical additions to correct any deficiencies are justified
  • Ensure the accuracy of the daily fluid report
Job Requirements
  • B.S. degree in engineering or related technical field is preferred
  • A minimum of 15 years industry experience in fluids, solids control and waste management
  • A minimum of 15 years diversified international experience for international assignments
  • A minimum of 5 years of industry experience requirements must be in deep water drilling operations (1000m) if filling a deep water drilling engineering position
  • Experience in water based and non-aqueous drilling fluids; experience with various completion fluids
  • Experience with solids control equipment and waste management
  • Able to effectively organize and communicate thoughts
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft applications
  • Read, write and speak fluent English
    Job Title: Project Engineer II Location: Nigeria Category: Others Job Type: Contracts Job Nature: Resident Main Functions
  • Performs engineering design evaluations and works to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints.
  • Reviews industry policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Reviews reports of production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine or address problems.
  • Provides technical support for the engineering process.

  • Participates in Invitation to Tender (ITT) development, bid evaluation and contractor selection
  • Participates in identification & sourcing long lead equipment, assuring Front End Engineering Design (FEED) contractor support until equipment is assigned to the contractor
  • Coordinates development of Functional Interaction Plan
  • Coordinates project issues resolution process
  • Coordinates change requests & endorses change authorization

    Job Title: Safety Advisor II Location: Nigeria Category: Others Job Type: Contracts Job Nature: Resident Main Functions
  • Provides safety / health support to the site leadership team and the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) ) Contractor's organization
  • In some cases, responsibilities may extend to other Safety, Security, Health, and Environmental (Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) ) issues, status, and metrics.
Tasks and Responsibilities In addition to all Level 1 tasks and responsibilities, Level 2:
  • Provide ongoing support to proponent organizations to assist them in implementing the Safety Management System and in meeting safety objectives and expectations.
  • This support includes: assisting Business Lines in developing safety processes related to risk assessment and management, safety training, asset integrity, safe operations, contractor safety, emergency preparedness, incident investigations, etc.
  • Conduct field inspections of onshore and offshore oil/gas facilities, project construction sites, drilling rigs, and support facilities such office buildings, warehouses, and communities. This includes working with BL to identify safety concerns, formulate solutions, and develop practical and cost-effective corrective actions.
  • Participate in various safety studies/activities, such as: PHAs, HAZOPs, JSAs, incident investigations, compliance reviews, or insurance surveys
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred
  • Demonstrated work experience in construction safety-related positions (including some prior oil & gas experience)
  • In depth knowledge of security processes and procedures
  • Proficient in use of computers and programs such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Microsoft Office
  • Read, write, and speak fluent English, as required to function effectively within a project team
  • Prefer prior experience working in a multicultural / multilingual, emerging nation, environment
  • Willingness to travel / live away from home for extended time periods
  • Demonstrated ability (through past project successes) to deliver excellence in project SSHE performance
  • Demonstrated ability to develop successful internal and external working relationships with emphasis on interfacing in a team environment
  • Must be fit for duty for a construction field environment (examples include uneven, unpaved walking surfaces, large structures that are accessible only via ladders or stairs, standing for extended time periods, climbing, bending, walking, reaching, and other physical demands)
  • Ability to work in harsh environments (examples include temperature and / or humidity extremes, remote locations with limited amenities) with changing priorities
  • Ability to set priorities and work independently in performing contractor services with an appreciation for company processes and procedures
