  • The successful candidate will oversee the day to day running of the tank farm from an operational perspective while liaising with relevant external agencies and regulators.
  • The role ensures there is seamless delivery of processes to enhance revenue generating capacity
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage all technical aspects of maintenance and operations of the LPG Terminal, including storage area, jetty area and gantry.
  • Oversee and recommend regular technical audits to identify areas of improvement for the LPG Terminal with an aim to increasing output while minimizing safety incidents, product measurement errors and other related risks.
  • Liaise with statutory regulatory bodies on all permits necessary to successfully operate and refurbish the terminal when necessary.
  • Train staff on regulatory and safely requirements needed to operate LPG operations successfully
  • Ensure that the highest safety standards are met and implemented and that the terminal exceeds all HAZOP/HAZID and HSE requirements for oil & gas pipelines, storage, transportation and distribution.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports to management on the status of operations.
  • Develop in conjunction with head, marketing and business development strategies on optimizing returns on the terminal
  • Implement measures to ensure seamless and safe receipt, storage, handling and despatch of products in the terminal
  • Facilitate regular facility inspection and work with the HSE and maintenance teams to establish and implement maintenance controls / measures
  • Drive the implementation of the terminal’s business strategies, objectives and plans
  • Perform other functions as may be assigned by the Chief Operating Officer
Qualifications and Experiences
  • Bachelor’s Degree/HND Second Class (Upper Division)/HND Upper Credit in a Social Science, Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum of eight (8) years’ relevant experience in the operations department of a reputable downstream Oil and Gas company, specifically in LPG terminal operations with at least four (4) years in a management position
  • Project Management certification is an added advantage
  • A  relevant post graduate degree would an added   advantage
  • Expert knowledge in directing the commissioning of LPG import terminals, storage, pipeline and distribution (truck loading)
  • Demonstrable success record of leading a team in an LPG operations.
    Job Title: Head, Maintenance Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers Job Description
  • This role will ensure the effectiveness of core business operations through the provision of appropriate and efficient technical support services
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead the Maintenance, Engineering and Instrumentation teams in attaining corporate objectives.
  • Provide on-site technical support to the terminal operational team so as to deliver high quality service to our customers.
  • Develop technical service strategies to assist in achieving strategic goals and objectives.
  • Ensure optimal plant/equipment performance using detailed maintenance schedules and plans.
  • Coordinate the articulation and implementation of technical support policies and procedures to ensure effective utilization of company resources
  • Review and ensure the development, introduction and acquisition of new technologies, skills and business support processes to drive improvements in business performance
  • Work with the Instrumentation & Automation team to monitor, service and maintain equipment.
  • Perform other functions as may be requested by the Terminal Manager
Qualifications and Experiences
  • Minimum of B.Sc. Second Class Upper/ HND Upper Credit in Engineering, IT, Project Management, Technology Management or a related field
  • Minimum of ten (10) years working experience in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably in a technical operations function with at least five (5) years at management level
  • Relevant professional certification such as HSE Certifications, COREN is an added advantage.
  • A relevant postgraduate degree would be an added advantage

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Drive the implementation of the terminal’s business strategies, objectives and plans
  • Provide leadership and direction to the various units in the terminal and ensure collaboration among them to enhance productivity
  • Liaise with the external communities, government agencies and other relevant stakeholders concerning terminal’s operations.
  • Implement measures to ensure seamless and safe receipt, storage, handling and despatch of products in the terminal
  • Report on terminal activities to management and ensure that statutory reports are generated as at when due
  • Maintain relationships with third party carriers, suppliers and contractors
  • Enforce HSE standards and guidelines in the business division
  • Facilitate regular facility inspection and work with the Risk Management & ICT team to establish and implement maintenance controls / measures
  • Ensure adequate training and performance management support is provided for the development of staff
  • Monitor the various machines and equipment in the terminal to ensure they are regularly serviced and utilised appropriately
  • Perform other functions as may be requested by the Chief Operating Officer
Qualifications and Experiences
