Job Title: Quality Control Officer

Role Summary

  • We are looking for a Seasoned Quality Control (QC) Engineer with a demonstrated history of driving remarkable improvements to quality through hands-on analysis and detailed inspections, quality assessments, and report generation to create excellent results.
  • The Quality control (QC) Engineer shall be responsible for monitoring operations to ensure that they meet production standards while recommending adjustments to the assembly or production process. Inspecting, testing, or measuring materials, components, or products being produced to ensure they meet the company’s approved assembling or production standards and specifications.
  • He/She will work closely with the Production Supervisor to ensure that only acceptable, functional, and top-quality products that meet industry, company, and consumer standards are assembled and produced.

Accountabilities

  • Examine and monitor the assembling/production processes and operational techniques to meet production standards.
  • Recommend adjustments to the assembling or production processes.
  • Assign and mark items with grades and official acceptance or rejection status.
  • Compare product and materials colors, shapes, textures, and grades with predetermined templates.
  • Inspect, test, and assess the materials and parts used for assembling activities along with the product produced for conformance with quality control requirements and production specifications.
  • Write detailed reports outlining performance, quality, and defect rates.
  • Carry out non-destructive tests, and conduct continuous inspections.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to minimize equipment damage and avoid injuries.
  • Documented nonconformities and product defects immediately and recommended techniques for prompt resolution.
  • Generate reports with documented findings and recommendations.
  • Inspect remediation processes to standardize results to meet compliance regulations.
  • Review drawings and blueprints to complete inspection at appropriate levels.
  • Perform quality control inspections at customer sites to determine alignment with safety regulations.
