Job Purpose
- The QA/QC Manager oversees all aspects of quality assurance and quality control processes within the organization to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer expectations.
This role involves:
- Developing and implementing quality management systems.
- Conducting audits and inspections.
- Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement.
- Leading a team of QA/QC professionals.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Coordinating with external auditors and regulatory agencies to facilitate external audits and inspections.
- Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting quality-related data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Preparing reports and presentations summarizing quality metrics, audit findings, and improvement initiatives for management review.
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product/service quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Providing training and guidance to staff on quality management principles, procedures, and best practices.
- Establishing quality control procedures and protocols to monitor and maintain product/service quality throughout the production/service delivery process.
- Providing and coordinating required on-the-job training hours. Assisting in the certification of NDT for Level I and Level II inspectors.
- Planning and conducting internal audits and inspections to assess adherence to quality standards, procedures, and regulations.
- Fostering a culture of quality and accountability within the organization through training and awareness programs.
- Staying abreast of relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance.
- Ensuring that VACC services meet all applicable regulatory requirements and certifications.
- Implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address non-conformities and prevent recurrence of quality issues.
- Establishing quality requirements and specifications for suppliers and vendors.
- Conducting supplier/vendor audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements.
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Bachelor's Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Science, or other relevant field.
- Proven experience in quality assurance/quality control roles, preferably in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, Certified Quality Auditor) is an added advantage.
- Ability to work efficiently in a multicultural environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles, standards, and methodologies (e.g., ISO standards, Six Sigma).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and lead teams.
Salary
Manager 2 (Negotiable).
