Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with the agency's marketing objectives and target audience, consistent with the brand voice, tone, and messaging, and adhere to the company's style guidelines.
- Research, conceptualize, and create high-quality, original content for various platforms such as websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and other marketing collateral.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop visually appealing and impactful materials, such as presentations, infographics, videos, and other multimedia assets through powerful and compelling messages to the target audience.
- Manage and maintain the agency's brand identity guidelines, ensuring consistent application across all communication channels and materials.
- Build and nurture relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry professionals to secure media coverage, identify partnership opportunities, maintain a positive agency image and foster market leadership.
- Monitor industry trends, news, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and develop proactive communication strategies.
- Oversee internal communication efforts, including employee newsletters, announcements, and intranet content, to foster engagement and alignment within the agency.
- Identifying and leveraging opportunities to repurpose content across different channels and platforms for maximum reach and impact
- Developing and implementing strategic communication plans that support the company’s brand positioning and messaging
- Manage multiple communication plans simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Editing and fact-checking pieces of content generated by junior colleagues and proofreading the agency’s content for originality, style, and accuracy.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in communication planning and execution.
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of communication initiatives using appropriate metrics and tools, and provide regular reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging communication technologies, tools, and best practices, and recommend their integration into the agency's communication strategy.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather information and insights to develop relevant and accurate content
- Conducting thorough research on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences to inform content strategies and keep content up-to-date and relevant using SEO practices to optimize articles and increase visibility.
- Developing and executing content strategies that align with the company's overall marketing and communication goals vital to enhancing visibility and sales of the brand and products
- Conducting content audits to assess the effectiveness of existing content and identifying areas for improvement
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. A master's degree may be an advantage.
- 7 - 10 years of relevant experience in communications, preferably in a creative agency, marketing, or retail-related industry.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with the creative industry's communication process, events, approach, and understanding.
- Knowledge of different industries and business sectors.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of current industry trends and events, local and international media, best practices, and emerging marketing, writing and communication technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful communication campaigns across multiple channels.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messages for different audiences and platforms.
- Proficient in using various communication and content creation tools, including social media management platforms, content management systems, and design software.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain brand voice and consistency.
