Job Description
- Are you seeking for an opportunity to join one of Nigerian’s fastest growing indigenous Oil & Gas Companies renowned for its commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable practices?
- We are currently seeking to engage an experienced and dynamic Project Manager for one of our clients who is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge gas processing facilities that meet international standards, ensuring energy efficiency and environmental responsibility. He/she will be saddled with the responsibility of overseeing the development, execution, and successful completion of gas processing facility projects.
- The ideal candidate must possess extensive knowledge of the oil and gas sector, with a strong background in project management, engineering, and operations, and must have served in the capacity of a Project Manager for allied Gas Projects for a minimum of 12 years.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Perform full cycle scoping, preliminary design, cost estimating, economic analysis, and field development planning.
- Lead development of project proposals and coordinates submission, clarifications and interfaces processes.
- Demonstrate effective people skills to interact with clients, service providers, peers and support staff and field personnel.
- Demonstrate willingness and availability to travel to field locations on a regular basis, or as needed.
- Ensure alignment with the Company’s policies, procedures, applicable codes, recommended practices, and all government regulations.
- Adheres to the company’s values – integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation.
- Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.
- Must be adaptable to change and flexible to manage multiple duties as assigned by management.
- Demonstrate ability to effectively soliciting ideas from relevant stakeholders involved in a project to maintain a high degree of efficiency and ownership to meet the goals and objectives of projects under his/her supervision.
- See to the supervision and approval of facility modifications, installation, decommissioning, and other related work as well as monitoring costs.
- Engage and manage outside engineering and construction support (consultants and/or Engineering firms) when necessary.
- Act as liaison for technical and commercial support during contractual negotiations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university or college with a Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Petroleum Engineering.
- 12+ years minimum of engineering experience, including end-to-end engineering, design, estimating, and field project execution.
- Experienced Project Management skills for capital projects.
- Strong Leadership experience that can bring cross-functional teams together to deliver on projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with special ability to translate complex technical information into an organized and presentable manner.
- Self-starter with proven leadership skills, team player, comfortable working under pressure, and dedicated to developing workforce.
- Proficient level of skill in Microsoft Office (Word, PPT and Excel). Preferred experience with commonly used industry software, especially process modeling and project management tools.
- Demonstrates the ability to work closely with a broader, diverse and multi-cultural/disciplinary team.
- Experience in the areas of cost estimating, budgeting, scheduling, planning, and contracting projects.
- Experience in reading and in creating block flow diagrams, P&IDs, data sheets, and specifications.
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised in achieving set goals.
Salary
N10,000,000 - N15,000,000 annually.
