Overview
- As a Project Manager at Sabreworks, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing real estate development projects from conception to completion.
- You will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. Working closely with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders, you will lead the execution of multiple projects, contributing to the company's growth and success in the real estate industry.
Responsibilities
Project Planning and Initiation:
- Collaborate with the executive team to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, outlining timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and develop mitigation plans.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial targets.
- Regularly monitor project expenses and provide financial updates to stakeholders.
Vendor and Contractor Management:
- Source and select contractors, architects, and consultants for project implementation.
- Manage and oversee the work of vendors and contractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.
- Permitting and Compliance:
- Coordinate and obtain all necessary permits and approvals required for project development.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and zoning laws.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Maintain open and transparent communication with stakeholders, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly.
Risk Management:
- Identify and assess project risks, developing risk management strategies to minimize potential impacts.
- Keep stakeholders informed of any significant project risks and recommended mitigation plans.
Project Execution and Monitoring:
- Lead project teams, providing clear direction and support to achieve project objectives.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
Quality Control:
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that projects meet the company's high-quality standards.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks at various stages of project development.
Project Handover and Documentation:
- Oversee the successful handover of completed projects to the operations team or clients.
- Ensure that all project documentation is accurately maintained and organized for future reference.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (at least 5 years) as a Project Manager in the real estate or construction industry.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to overcome project challenges.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and results.
- Strong understanding of real estate development processes, including design, construction, and project delivery.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Salary Range
N200,000 - N260,000 / month.
