We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Engineer - Pipeline

Location: Gwagwalada, Abuja

Job Description

• Supervising the engineering activities of the pipeline engineering scope (detailed engineering and construction engineering)
• Timely reviewing of all in-house and subcontractor engineering deliverables
• Adherence to company management system as applicable
• Proposing, stimulating and realising optimization and improvement in the area of responsibility.
• Coordinating the engineering activities of the HDD/HTB engineering scope.
• Timely completion of all engineering deliverables assigned within the project.
• Ensure that contractual specifications, codes and standards are followed in project execution in accordance with contractual, legislative, regulatory, company and commercial requirements.

Authorized to:

• Review and approval of applicable engineering delivery
• Review and approve all calculations and analysis performed by subcontractors and Discipline Engineers.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or any relevant Engineering Discipline.
• Relevant QHSE training
• Relevant software training
• Onshore pipeline installation experience

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years experience in major projects in the Oil and Gas Construction with at least 3 years as a lead.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Conversant with the use of AutoCAD
• Practical knowledge of engineering design, installation, testing and commissioning of onshore pipelines and structures
• Must be solution oriented and able to identify key issues and pattern's in complex situations.
• Ability to interpret pipeline analysis
• Conversant with engineering codes and standards
