Job Title: Project Control Manager

Location: Lagos / Port Harcourt, Rivers

Functionally reports to: Engineering and Operations Manager
Contract Type: 1 Year

Job Description

  • We are looking to engage a Project Control Manager who will assist and support the PM in project management, coordinate and manage the Project Control Team ensuring the achievement of objectives in terms of time, costs and revenues.
  • Collaborate with the PM in the analysis of the budget for the preparation of the budget statement, the program works, and the cash flow for the project;
  • Transfer the relevant budget to the services involved, which are responsible for ensuring adequate and proper management of requirements and availability for the project;
  • Preparing contractual documentation and adequately reporting to the client;
  • Formalizing and assessing the impacts of Extra Work required by the customer in terms of costs, time, and resources within the project together with the Contract Administrator;
  • Collaborate with the PM to define the final forecasts of the project;
  • Analyze the works program with the Project Planner, analyze together with the Cost Controller the economic and financial aspects and analyze together with the Contracts Administrator the contract aspects to propose corrective actions to the PM;
  • Process the contents of the close-out reports on the activities of the Project Control team (Planner, Cost Controller, and Contract Administrator).
  • Analyzing or reporting project control and identifying any corrective or preventive actions aimed at achieving the objectives;
  • Analyzing the contract together with the Contract Administrator;
  • Support the PM in particular in:
  • Ensure monthly reporting, and project tracking;
  • Collaborate with the PM to propose the revision of the project budget, in the case of significant changes to the initial scope of work;
  • Participate in the Kick-Off meeting with the client and in periodic meetings of the project;

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree, preferably in Engineering or Economics disciplines;
  • Minimum of 10+ years' experience and 3+ years of relevant experience in the specific role;
  • Good skills in Microsoft Office Suite, it would be considered preferential the knowledge of Primavera P6 and ERP Advanced Tools;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
