Our Job Center for PWDs is dedicated to bridging the gap between PWDs and potential employers, fostering economic empowerment, and building a more inclusive workforce.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:



Job Title: Programs Coordinator

Location: Okota, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Program Management:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor programs and services offered by the Job Center to ensure they align with organizational goals.
  • Coordinate skill development workshops, career counseling sessions, and job placement activities for PWDs.
  • Evaluate program outcomes and prepare regular reports to showcase impact and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant legal and organizational policies, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, government agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders to secure job opportunities for PWDs.
  • Represent the organization at networking events, conferences, and community forums to promote the Job Center’s objectives.
  • Act as a liaison between PWDs and potential employers to address challenges and foster mutual understanding.

Funding and Resource Mobilization:

  • Identify and pursue funding opportunities, including grants, sponsorships, and partnerships, to support program activities and growth.
  • Develop compelling proposals, concept notes, and presentations to secure financial and in-kind contributions.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure efficient use of resources.

Administrative Duties:

  • Supervise and support program staff and volunteers, ensuring effective delivery of services.
  • Maintain accurate records of participants, program activities, and outcomes.
  • Manage schedules, logistics, and communications for Job Center activities.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in program coordination, preferably in the nonprofit or social impact sector.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of disability inclusion, employment laws, and workforce development strategies.
  • Proven experience in fundraising, grant writing, or securing sponsorships.

Salary
N150,000 - N180,000 per month.
